We recently moved from St. Bernard Parish back to Orleans Parish and, unfortunately, the previous owners of our new house also left us an unexpected housewarming gift... fleas! We have five indoor cats who all started scratching, and since they were also due for their vaccinations, I knew there was no way I was going to stuff five already stressed cats into carriers after such a traumatic move. Thankfully, I found Clearview Animal Hospital and their mobile veterinary service. From the very first phone call to the day of our appointment, their communication was outstanding. They made the entire process so easy and reassuring. Dr. Edmunds and her veterinary technician, Nikkie, came to our home and were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, patient, and incredibly gentle with all five cats, not to mention they handled two extremely nervous cat parents who couldn't stop bickering! They never made us feel rushed and treated our cats with so much compassion. I can't recommend Clearview Animal Hospital highly enough. Their staff is fantastic, and their in-home veterinary service is an absolute lifesaver for anyone with anxious pets or multiple animals. Met Dr Hecker and Kailey, can't remember Dr Hecker's nurse's name, but they were all amazing. You can tell everyone there loves the animals. Can't recommend them enough!!! Dr Edmond, her tech and everyone I talked to at the office, were awesome. Had a mobile home visit because our cat gets stressed leaving the house. He is also a squirming octopus for doctors. They handled him easily, gently and compassionately while checking out his eye. They made it look easy (He wasn't too happy). He is now over it and talking to a lizard on the outside of our kitchen window. They were outstanding; if you need a vet, call them. I had to make the unfortunate decision to put my girl Luna (black lab) down. This is the first time I've used Clearview Veterinary Hospital. They offer home euthanization for your babies. Dr. Edmond and vet tech Nikkie came to my house and was so caring to my family and of course Luna. Dr. Edmond was very thorough, explained everything I needed to know and gave us as much time as we needed with Luna. Thanks for taking care of my girl (and me because I was a mess).
