Fido’s Beach Bag

Do you like going to the beach in summer? Many of our canine companions love the waterfront. Fido may enjoy hitting the shore as much as you do! However, you will need to make sure your pet stays safe and comfy at the beach. You may want to make your pooch his own beach bag, so you can be sure he has everything he needs. Water And Water Bowls

Your furry friend will get hot and thirsty very quickly at the beach. Make sure you always have fresh water for him. You may find collapsible plastic dishes are a great option for a doggy on the go.

Paw Balm/Booties

Hot sand and tar can really do a number on Fido’s furry feet. Your canine buddy’s paws will be extra delicate when they’re wet. Keep a good paw balm in your pup’s bag. (Booties will also help, though not all dogs will tolerate wearing these.)

Sunscreen

Did you know that dogs can get sunburns? Fido will be particularly susceptible if he has pale or thin fur. Add some dog-safe sunscreen!

First-Aid Kit

It’s always best to err on the side of caution when it comes to our canine pals. Keep a first-aid kit in Fido’s bag.

Umbrella

Fido should always have an option to get out of the sun. You can find some really cute doggy beach beds with attachable umbrellas. However, any umbrella will work.

Towels

Bring a few towels as well. This is a great way to get more life out of old towels!

Cooling Vests

Summertime can be scorching hot in these areas. Cooling vests can help Fido beat the heat. There are a few different types, so do some research before purchasing one. You can also go the DIY route: tie a bandana around your pet’s neck, and wet it down with water.

Lifejacket

Even if your furry buddy is a great swimmer, it’s a good idea to have a lifejacket for him. This is definitely something you would need if you ever take Fido boating.

Tie-Line
